There are these cliche sayings we hear time after time when we’re down or losing hope. Things are meant to happen, if you love them let them go and if they return they are here to stay, things will look brighter eventually, all this common bullshit. Don’t get me wrong, they are hopeful things and many take these for granted. The real problem is those who become so dependent on these little phrases. They’re used over and over in the moral of a story, movie, poem, etc. “If it didn’t work out with that person, then it wasn’t meant to be. There will be someone else.” Yeah, maybe it can keep you optimistic, but don’t expect it to be a guarantee. The problem with these things, the arguments for them are so open ended. There will be someone else? You can be waiting forever. Things will be brighter eventually, don’t wait until it happens because eventually can be a long long time. It’s all bullshit, the love stories, the fairy tails, all of it. We aren’t all fortunate. Just don’t be dependent on this miraculous turn of events in your favor, sometimes you gotta make shit happen, and well if you can’t then find your own solution. That is a cliche statement I can be dependent on.

Once they were common and plentiful, but as time passed the numbers shrank. I swear to dedicate my life to the preservation, restoration, and education of these beautiful endangered species .
